Terrain Information - The area is a university campus with a variety of buildings, paths, roads and green areas.


Transport - Maynooth  is well served by public bus and rail transport.

Maynooth University’s website provides comprehensive details for transport.

Maynooth is just off the N4. This is the road that will take you to the rest of the IOC competitions.

Be aware that traffic for Punchestown Races is likely to affect travel

times from Dublin to Kildare.


Maynooth Village is likely to be busy on a Friday afternoon, to avoid it, take exit 8 off the M4.

Use Eircode W23 VP22 to navigate to the designated parking area. Only use the designated car park.


Course Information


Start Info - M/W18, 20 and 21 Starts will be in the later part of the Start Window ie 6.30pm to 7pm.

Timed Starts will be used for M/W18, 20 and 21. All others will have a punching start.


There will be numbered bibs for all competitors. These will be used for Days 1 to 3. Any bibs not collected on Day 1 can be collected on Day 2 and subsequently on Day 3.

Controls will be SIAC enabled.


Start and Finish will also be SIAC enabled. Direct punching will also work.
