04/07/2026: Entries for the re-scheduled Irish Orienteering Relay Championships on August 29th have now opened on the Fabian4 website. All teams who had already registered for the May 4th event have had their entries cancelled, and will be refunded 80% of their entry fees over the coming weeks. Unfortunately, due to fixed costs associated with running the May competition, we are unable to refund 100% of entry fees.
Relay teams wishing to compete in the new event on August 29th will need to enter the new competition on Fabian4. As an incentive to enter, we have reduced the entry fees for the new competition by 20%. We also welcome any new teams, who had not registered for the May event, to join us for the rescheduled event in August.
Relay entries will close on Friday 21st August @ 23:59. We will then e-mail club representatives with details of the course lengths for each team. Team declarations then need to be completed online at Fabian4 by Wednesday 26th August @ 23:59. For enquiries please contact ioc2026@corko.net.
Course information for the Relay Championships is included in the original Final Information document that was published in April. Winning times are likely to be longer than originally planned, due to growth of vegetation over the summer months. Arrangements for parking and getting to the Assembly Area may be updated closer to the competition date.
